Kristina Lovaas is a curator, artist, writer, and educator based in Berlin. Having curated two institutional exhibitions at Museum Penzberg and formerly served as Director at Artuner, her curatorial work spans institutional and independent contexts, including Lovaas Projects, an exhibition space she co-founded in Munich. At Technische Universität Berlin, she lectured on exhibition studies and museum architecture, and her writing includes contributions to Imaginations of Venice (Hatje Cantz, 2025) and several exhibition catalogues. Her artistic work has been exhibited across Europe and the United States, including at the Pinakothek der Moderne and the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden. She studied Art History at Cornell University and completed her Meisterschülerin at the Städelschule.
